course overview

The role of a “Kaizen Facilitator” is a fundamental part of learning and a pre-requisite if your organisation has no strategy for Continuous Improvement in Lean or Six Sigma.

The objective of this course is to develop the understanding of improvement tools and how to function effectively as a Lean Six Sigma White Belt.

Who should join?
• Those who want to improve their knowledge of CI & improve processes
• Team members wanting to make a difference to how they contribute
• Those wanting to upskill and qualify for future career opportunities
• Managers wanting to know more about the improvement tools
• People responsible for writing supporting process or standardised documentation

To successfully complete this course, professionals must review all of the lessons and complete all of the quiz modules and submit an improvement A3 Using PDCA. The Council for Six Sigma Certification will provide you with an accredited qualification for the subject on successful completion assessed by Blue Lion Training Academy.

The white belt marks the beginning of your journey towards continuous improvement, with “Kaizen” as a key concept. Derived from the Japanese words ‘kai’ (change) and ‘zen’ (good), Kaizen unites cross-functional teams to address specific challenges. A Kaizen event is a focused, accelerated improvement activity that can swiftly enhance a process or operation. By involving process operators and team members in brainstorming, decision-making, and implementation, Kaizen fosters enthusiasm and long-term sustainability.
