Event Assistants typically work within a team of people in an events company or within the events department of a larger organisation. The role would usually provides support to a number of Event Planners or Project Managers by carrying out a diverse range of tasks necessary to plan, organise and deliver an event: for example, searching for the right location and venue for the event; working with the design team on the look and feel of the event; or organising logistics like transportation and catering. The events organised may be for the company where the Event Assistant is working, or could be for a variety of different clients including large corporations, smaller companies and not- for-profit organisations.

Functional Skills
All learners will complete an initial assessment in Maths & English as part of the enrolment process. For apprentices aged 19+, completing Functional Skills is no longer a mandatory requirement of the apprenticeship programme.
However, we offer an outstanding teaching and learning programme in Maths & English for anyone who wishes to develop their skills further, and our tutors are here to support you every step of the way.

Off The Job Training (OTJ)
All apprentices are required to complete a set number of Off the Job Training (OTJ) hours over the duration of their apprenticeship. New government rules have made this so flexible , with the removal of a weekly requirement giving you the freedom to spread your OTJ hours in a way that works best for you and your employer.
