Audiovisual Technicians are responsible under minimal supervision for design, setup & delivery of audiovisual provision in accordance with the specifications of internal & external stakeholders.
Responsible for design, setup, and delivery of audiovisual provision in accordance with the specifications of internal and external stakeholders. Depending on the core business of their employer these activities might be focussed on time-based events (online, in-person, and hybrid) or permanent communication systems. All of the above activity requires systematic project management skills, an evaluative approach, and the ability to synthesise client requirements, project specifications, and budget. Employees are responsible for determining the best course of action and implementing theoretical/technical knowledge in order bring projects to fruition. Additionally they are responsible for upholding institutional/national health and safety guidelines, meeting specific client requirements on time, and responding to change requests (late or otherwise) in a professional manner.

Functional Skills
All learners will complete an initial assessment in Maths & English as part of the enrolment process. For apprentices aged 19+, completing Functional Skills is no longer a mandatory requirement of the apprenticeship programme.
However, we offer an outstanding teaching and learning programme in Maths & English for anyone who wishes to develop their skills further, and our tutors are here to support you every step of the way.

Off The Job Training (OTJ)
All apprentices are required to complete a set number of Off the Job Training (OTJ) hours over the duration of their apprenticeship. New government rules have made this so flexible , with the removal of a weekly requirement giving you the freedom to spread your OTJ hours in a way that works best for you and your employer.
