Assistant Recording Technicians have a significant impact on the final sound experience. They balance technical and creative skills to produce the impact that the director and other creative staff members and clients/artists want to achieve. Assistant Recording Technicians trouble shoot processes and technical issues and provide solutions to resolve them or work with colleagues with relevant experience. Sound recordings may of great interest to members of the public prior to their completion. They must ensure that physical and digital assets are stored securely and safely and ensure that files are not subject to piracy or theft.
Suitable for employees who work in music/podcast production environments where they are required to use microphones, equalizers, sound bars to ensure they produce a high quality sound recording.

Our flexible delivery model will support each learner to develop and enhance their current knowledge & skills to lead on a Continuous Improvement project.

Functional Skills
All learners will complete an initial assessment in Maths & English as part of the enrolment process. For apprentices aged 19+, completing Functional Skills is no longer a mandatory requirement of the apprenticeship programme.
However, we offer an outstanding teaching and learning programme in Maths & English for anyone who wishes to develop their skills further, and our tutors are here to support you every step of the way.

Off The Job Training (OTJ)
All apprentices are required to complete a set number of Off the Job Training (OTJ) hours over the duration of their apprenticeship. New government rules have made this so flexible , with the removal of a weekly requirement giving you the freedom to spread your OTJ hours in a way that works best for you and your employer.
