Carrying out skilled work in the photographic industry utilising common photographic knowledge and skills.
As a photographer, you will work autonomously and with customers or clients collaborating with other departments as required to produce, manage and deliver photographic assets to meet agreed requirements.
You will interact with clients, subjects, retouchers and other stakeholders involved in the production of images. you will set up and operate photographic equipment in a manner to obtain the best image in accordance with the customer/client brief.

- Ensure work and professional practice complies with legal, regulatory and ethical codes, guidelines and principles
- Review your own professional practice and keep up-to-date with trends and technology
- Work autonomously and with customers or clients collaborating with other departments as required to ensure that the photographic images are delivered to meet agreed requirements
- Set-up, operate and maintain current industry standard photographic equipment and software
- Manage photographic assets through the workflow in line with organisational requirements for organising, storing and retrieving assets
- Set up and/or follow photographic file management protocols, file and store data securely

Our flexible delivery model will support each learner to develop and enhance their current knowledge & skills to lead on a Continuous Improvement project.

Functional Skills
All learners will complete an initial assessment in Maths & English as part of the enrolment process. For apprentices aged 19+, completing Functional Skills is no longer a mandatory requirement of the apprenticeship programme.
However, we offer an outstanding teaching and learning programme in Maths & English for anyone who wishes to develop their skills further, and our tutors are here to support you every step of the way.

Off The Job Training (OTJ)
All apprentices are required to complete a set number of Off the Job Training (OTJ) hours over the duration of their apprenticeship. New government rules have made this so flexible , with the removal of a weekly requirement giving you the freedom to spread your OTJ hours in a way that works best for you and your employer.
