Improvement Specialist

Typical Duration
12 months
Leading the deployment of improvement strategies.
You will already have a broad & deep technical expertise in advanced Lean Six Sigma, Project & Change Management tools & principles which will enable you to support the delivery of improvement opportunities aligned to the business goals through coaching & mentoring practioners within the organisation.
Who is this apprenticeship suitable for?
Suitable for employees who have some knowledge of CI methodologies who can identify & lead the delivery of a change across an existing process or department. Using a blend of Lean, Six Sigma, project & change management tools to identify change utilising the DMAIC process.

Delivery Model
Build on your CI knowledge to lead on an Improvement Project utilising DMAIC whilst supported by a Blue Lion expert tutor!
Our flexible delivery model will support each learner to develop and enhance their current knowledge & skills to lead on a Continuous Improvement project.

Functional Skills
All learners will complete an initial assessment in Maths & English as part of the enrolment process. For apprentices aged 19+, completing Functional Skills is no longer a mandatory requirement of the apprenticeship programme.
However, we offer an outstanding teaching and learning programme in Maths & English for anyone who wishes to develop their skills further, and our tutors are here to support you every step of the way.

Off The Job Training (OTJ)
All apprentices are required to complete a set number of Off the Job Training (OTJ) hours over the duration of their apprenticeship. New government rules have made this so flexible , with the removal of a weekly requirement giving you the freedom to spread your OTJ hours in a way that works best for you and your employer.
