Support your Marketing team with an apprentice
Marketing is what connects businesses to their customers. It’s the first step to driving a sale. But it can be tough to give it the focus it needs – especially when other pressing issues land at your doorstep. That’s where a marketing apprentice comes in.
The Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours of each of the Apprenticeships that have been set out by the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education are key to developing your teams’ skills, so they can excel in the media profession.
It doesn’t matter if your team sells coffee or cars, houses or aeroplanes the skill can be applied across any industry through the marketing function of your business. Inspire your team to become more efficient and gain the skills require to stay ahead of growing trends in the media and digital industry.
Do you have fewer than 50 employees
As an employer that doesn’t pay the apprenticeship levy, you pay just 5% towards the cost of training and assessing an apprentice.
The government will pay the rest up to the funding band maximum.
You’ll pay the training provider directly and agree on a payment schedule.
If you employ fewer than 50 employees, the government will pay 100% of the apprenticeship training costs up to the funding band maximum for apprentices aged:
- 16 to 18
- 19 to 24 with an education, health and care plan provided by their local authority or has been in the care of their local authority
Employers will receive £3,000 for new apprentices of any age who join their organisation from 1 April 2021 to 30 September 2021.
You can apply for incentive payments for these apprentices from 1 June 2021 to 30 November 2021.
The incentive payment is in addition to the £1,000 employers already receive for hiring an apprentice:
- aged 16 to 18 years old
- under 25 with an education, health and care plan or who has been in the care of their local authority
